PT Week - bring you gym gear - activities at the squadron building

As always, testing opportunities are available.

Wendover Halloween Party this weekend (Oct 30/31st) - cost is $20 - you'll need to make arrangements to get out there - but it will be a fun activity.

Oct 22nd

This is going to be a busy Meeting this week. I hope everyone makes an effort to attend. Be in uniform (preferable in Blues, but if you have none and own a set of BDU's wear them).

We have an open house scheduled -

The Vice Wing Commander will be visiting -

Color Guard will be posting the Colors at the opening of the meeting -

We have a Change of Command -

And we have one C/SSgt that should be promoted (hmmm, wonder who that could be)

We will still still have testing and boards available, if requested.

Oct 15th

Character Development meeting this week - uniform of the day is blues.

Camp Curry is set for Oct 23 & 24 - all Cadet Basic's will attend. It is highly recommended that C/Airman also show up. Cost for Basic's is $20 - Amn is $15. See Lt Fernandez for details.

Since we had to cancel the road clean up that was set for Oct 10th, we are going to attempt to complete it on Saturday, Oct 17th - at 9:00am. It will take about three (3) hours to complete.

**UPDATE** Per C/Lt Pratt, he will be quizzing on the following topics:

Memorization 2 and knowings 2 finished. Memorize: The Air Force Honor code, The mission of CAP, Who is the Cadet Deputy Commander, Cadet Commander; Know what is: Military Bearing, and CAP History. As always - all answers can be found in your SOP.

Oct 8th

Leadership week - uniform of the day is BDU's.

There will be an inspection of uniforms this week. Make sure your boots are shined, uniform pressed (not a sleep and wear wrinkle) and HAVE YOUR SQUADRON PATCH SEWN ON.

If your a Cadet Basic - our squadron is hosting a "Camp Curry" on Friday, Oct 23rd and Saturday, Oct 24th. The cost is only $20 and and the end of the camp (Sat about 8:30pm) you will be promoted to C/Airman. If you already have your Airman stripe, and would like to 'tune-up" your skills, this is a great opportunity. See Lt Fernandez to get signed up.

**UPDATE** Per C/Lt Pratt - There will be a test of memorization of the following topics: Cadet Oath, Squadron Motto, Flt Sgt & Flt Commander positions (who are they), uniform wear, and CPFT standards. See the SOP for all the answers.
